Ms Naik bought the childcare business and also inherited the IT infrastructure from the previous owner. She quickly found out that she was paying a huge amount in casual IT support and other services every month.


Mace IT reviewed the IT set-up for free and found out that:

  • The childcare business application was coming from one vendor
  • The email was hosted on a Zimbra platform by another vendor
  • VoIP telephony provided by one company and hosted by another
  • Files on hosted desktop
  • CRM system from another provider
There were just too many vendors and providers, which created real confusion over accountability for the upkeep of IT.
Home2Grow never received proper consultation and advice, they were already over-invested in IT, and the staff were confused or scared because of the complicated system.
Mace IT offered a ‘One Office’ solution to Home2grow and implemented it within a month’s timeline: :

  • Email collaboration and file sharing through MS office 365 - This reduced their time spend on email issues and solved the staff’s file sharing problems because of MS Office 365’s ‘anywhere, any device, anytime’ features. This solution also reduced the hosted remote desktop cost significantly.
  • Cloud IP PABX solution - Home2Grow now has office extensions at multiple locations and also on the staff members’ smart phones with a ‘Locate Me” option to track the phone user. There was a drastic reduction in the phone bill because not all calls were auto-forwarded to mobile phones.
  • Remote casual support - We also implemented unlimited remote support per machine with full monitoring and weekly maintenance.
  • Finally we offered them site support along with computer support with One fee structure.
