Software Support and Trainer Role

Do you enjoy training, delivering a variety of content to business professionals and computer users? We are looking for a dynamic person with lots of energy. Someone who enjoys interacting with people and is looking for a challenging and varied role. This role is based in New Lynn but being part of a nationwide organisation provides plenty of variety, opportunity and ability to travel.

The Role:

  Be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of face to face and remote product training for the end users.
  Create quality, easy to use end user training materials, manuals and quick reference guides for training undertaken or     general information as required.
  Refresh Training documentation as and when upgrades or changes occur which render documentation out of date.
  Receive, record, resolve (or manage to resolution where escalated to 2nd level support or external supplier) requests for     support and assistance in relation to system areas supported.
   Resolve high percentage of requests for support or assistance on first call.
  Conducting application testing
  Provide Business as usual application support
   Working with a range of stakeholders/users within the business
  Support the communication and delivery of the Business Intelligence solution to the relevant parties.
  Be able to travel throughout NZ as and when required

Key skills required include:

 Some software training background and/or development or a recent IT Graduate with 6 -12 months’ work experience
 Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
  Tech savvy
 A very good communicator who is able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical parties involved in the    project and able to effectively juggle multiple work streams and activities
 Self-managed, highly motivated and professional
 Energetic and enthusiastic
 Willing and able to get into the technical detail and develop an intimate understanding of our products and services
 Able to follow through on deliverables with drive and commitment to complete each assigned task effectively
 Comfortable with regular travel and irregular hours
 Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks and assignments, and able to prioritise work accordingly
 Full New Zealand Driver's licence is required
